Eight children records were reviewed in addition to 6 household/caregiver records. The family dog record was also reviewed. Children were observed playing outside, during toileting and during lunch.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-460-D Description: Based on a record review the licensee did not have documentation of the family dog having a current rabies vaccination. Evidence: The licensee was unable to locate the most current vaccination record for the family dog. Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the licensee during the exit interview: The dog has had its current vaccinations, but misplaced the records during a recent furniture move. The licensee will call the vet to obtain a copy of the most current documentation.
