Finger Prints discussed - A chimney check document was provided- contact for a date of the inspection.
An unannounced inspection has been conducted at 1030 AM. There were 6 children (infant- 4 years) present with 2 caregivers for a total of 16 points. The Inspector reviewed background checks, training records, children's records, menu, certification documents, and attendance. The children were observed in free play and one child shared his toys with the Inspector. Diaper change and hand washing was observed. The Inspector checked the entire house but children only use the lower level. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the Provider has not recorded documentation of monthly evacuation drills and shelter-in-place drills. Evidence: 1. Provider has the last year of drills but does not have any documented for this year. 2. Provider said it has been busy and she has not written them down. Plan of Correction: I will start documenting the drills as of this month.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-540-B Description: Based on observation, the Provider has a walker on the floor where children receive care. Plan of Correction: We are throwing it out.
