Technical Assistance:

The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1:50pm to 4:50pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed resting upon the inspector?s arrival, and they were later observed eating snack. Snack today was ice cream and graham crackers. The menu was posted. Today, there were three children, totaling seven points, present with one caregiver.

The caregiver was observed interacting with the children, preparing their snack and guiding them through the routine of the day.

Four children?s records, and two caregivers? records were reviewed during the inspection.

Medication is not being administered.

The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected.

A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Roshon Casey, at (804) 662-9760.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
