- Technical Assistance:
Shelter-in-place drills must to be practiced at least twice a year.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at 9:50 AM. There were three children in care during the inspection. The children were 3, 4, and 5 years old for a total of five points. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of whole grain cereal, banana, and milk. The children were also observed drawing and playing with toys. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed and in compliance. Three children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two household members' records, and one staff record were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The provider and staff member have current CPR and first aid certification. There were no medications on site to be reviewed as the provider does not administer medications. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 4/3/18. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 4/4/18.
