Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 10:15 am - 12:00 pm. There were 11 children in care being supervised by the provider and two assistant records ages, 10 months, 10 months, 11 months, 12 months, 12 months, 12 months, 18 months, 20 months, 3 years, 4 years, and 4 years for a total of 36 points. The children were observed participating in free play and eating snack. Meals are provided from home. Eleven children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider, two assistants, and three household member records were reviewed. The most recent emergency escape drill and shelter in place drills were conducted 06/01/2018. There are reportedly no medications being administered to children in the family day home at this time. The provider is current in CPR and First Aid Training. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on review of the provider's record it was determined that the provider failed to repeat a TB (Tuberculosis) screening every two years. Evidence: The most recent TB screening for the provider is dated 04/14/2016

Plan of Correction: The provider will obtain a current TB screening.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-340-C
Description: Based on observation of the daycare area it was determined that the bathroom did not have all of the required components. Evidence: The bathroom used by the daycare children did not have soap available for hand washing.

Plan of Correction: The provider placed soap in the bathroom during the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-540-B
Description: Based on observation of the daycare area it was determined that walkers were available for use. Evidence: An infant walker was observed in the daycare area of the family day home.

Plan of Correction: The provider removed the walker during the inspection.
