- Technical Assistance:
Reminded Provider that fingerprints need to be completed by September 30, 2018 and Shelter in Place drills need to be conducted twice per year (in addition to the monthly evacuation drills).
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today from 9:15am to 10:40am. 6 children (12pts) were present with 1 caregiver. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, caregiver records, children's records, household member records, evacuation drills and the menu were reviewed. No medications were on site. Required documents were posted. The vet records for the family pet were also reviewed. Children were observed coloring, singing, engaged in free play and interacting with the provider. Interactions were positive. An abundance of developmentally appropriate materials were available for the children to play with. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. For questions regarding this inspection, please contact email@example.com.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A Description: Based on record review, the Provider did not keep a written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: Written records were kept for previous months but there were no records for the month of July. Plan of Correction: I will make sure to write down the children that are here each day.
