54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today from 8:15am to 9:40am. 5 children plus the provider's child (17 pts) were present with 2 caregivers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, caregiver records, 5 children's records, evacuation drills, attendance records, emergency supplies, the Emergency Preparedness Plan and the menu were reviewed. Infant bottles were properly labeled. No medications were on site. Required documents were posted. The space was organized and contained an abundance of developmentally appropriate materials. The Provider exceeded standards regarding training hours. Children were observed working with playdough and other manipulatives. Infants were observed crawling and engaged in tummy time. Diapering procedures were in compliance. Interactions between caregivers and children were positive. No violations were cited today.
