A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 08/07/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. There are 7 children present (19 points) with 2 caregivers. 2 adult, 1 dog and 2 staff records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Children were observed washing hands, eating snack and playing with toys/puzzles. Emergency escape drills are current - please remember to conduct 2 shelter-in-place drills within the next 6 months. First aid supplies, emergency supplies, fridge temperature and bathroom supplies are all in compliance. There are no medications currently being administered at the home. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based upon a review of the emergency preparedness plan, the plan available for review does not include a lock down component or a reunification with parents plan.
