54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced full renewal inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 10 children, totaling 24 points. Children's records, caregiver training, caregiver records, background checks, the physical plant, emergency preparedness items, children's nutrition, and programming were inspected today. The provider reported that no children's medications were on site today. The children were observed singing ABC songs, practicing color and letter recognition, playing with blocks and toys, and playing with playdoh. The children were to be served tuna sandwiches, sliced grapes, peas/carrots, and milk for lunch later today. This inspection was completed between approximately 9:45am and 11:10am. Evidence: Child record A does not include the identifying information for the mother's place of employment. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the information.
