Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted September 24, 2018, to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There were nine children present, ranging in age from 9 months to 4 years, totaling 26 points being supervised by the provider and assistant. Children were observed having circle time, dancing to music, playing musical instruments, and having lunch. Lunch served today: chicken sticks, applesauce, glazed carrots sliced bread, and milk. There are many age appropriate toys available. Two staff and nine children's records were reviewed and are in compliance. Evacuation drills are conducted monthly and two shelter in place drills have been conducted this year. Please contact me if you have any questions at 804-662-9766 or e-mail tara.barton@dss.virginia.gov.
