Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on September 20, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 children observed in care during the inspection. The children's ages ranged from 2 to 6 years. The total points were five. Based on reviewed documentation and on the Provider's report, currently no children in care have a diagnosed food allergy. A discussion was held with the Provider regarding documentation of the practiced lock down procedures. The practiced drill is to be conducted at least annually with documentation maintained of the drill. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
