The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection from 9:35am - 12:00pm. There were six children in care for a total of 15 points with two caregivers. The children were observed playing with the available toys, singing songs and watching cartoons. Two caregiver's records, three household member's records and five children's records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record reviews, the family day home failed to have all staff complete the required annual training hours. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed two caregiver's records. One of two records reviewed (caregiver record #2) contained documentation of six hours of annual training. Each caregiver is required to obtain 16 hours of annual training. Plan of Correction: Caregiver #2 will obtain 10 additional hours of training this year to make up for the missing hours.
