Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from approximately 11:10am to 12:15pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, there were 3 children in care totaling 7 points being cared for by one provider. Upon the inspector's arrival, the children were observed eating lunch and interacting with the provider. Later, the children were observed playing in their designated area in the home, interacting with peers, and playing with age appropriate toys. The areas of childcare, bathroom, kitchen, the indoor play area, and outdoor play area were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit and non-emergency supplies, daily attendance, and fire and shelter-in-place drills were inspected. During this inspection, four children's records, one provider's records, one household members' records, and household pet records were reviewed. There were no violations cited during this inspection. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Florence Martus, at (804) 662-9772.
