An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on October 30, 2018. Some, but not all, of the licensing standards were reviewed. The provider was present with 4 children. (10 points) An infant was sleeping, and 3 preschool age children were resting on mats. Medications were not being administered. Four children's records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-D
Description: Based on a review of documentation, the family day home did not maintain documentation of records of emergency evacuation and shelter in place drills. Evidence: The family day home provider had practiced the emergency drills but had not documented the drills.

Plan of Correction: This was corrected during the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920
Description: Based on observation, the family day home did not post or give parents the menu for the current week. Evidence: The menu had been written but was not posted for parents to review.

Plan of Correction: This was corrected during the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A
Description: Based on a review of 4 children's records, the family day home did not have an up to date record for each child in care. The record for Child # 1did not include documentation of immunizations and proof of identity.

Plan of Correction: The parent will be requested to provide documentation.
