22VAC40-111 Physical Environment and Equipment

An inspection was conducted today in response to the provider's request to modify the license for a new address. The inspector arrived at 1:05 PM and departed at 1:35 PM. A conditional use permit has been approved and a certificate of occupancy issued. The new home is a two story detached home. Parent information and the license is posted in the foyer. Cubbies for the storage of the children's individual items are in the foyer. The children's play areas are two rooms open to each other on the first floor. Rooms are equipped with cribs, cots, tables and chairs and manipulatives/equipment. The bathroom is also easily accessible on the first floor. The stairs to the upstairs area are gated. There have been no changes in caregivers and household members. The back yard is fenced and will be used for outdoor play. An exit meeting was conducted with the provider prior to closure of the inspection.
