The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on 11/26/2018 from 10:49am to 1:15pm. The children were playing with toys upon the inspector?s arrival. Today, there were three children, totaling 9 points, present with one caregiver. The caregiver was observed interacting with the children and cleaning. An interview was held with the caregiver throughout the inspection. Additionally, when appropriate the inspector interacted with children. The provider does not administer medication. The provider does not provide transportation. The provider has one pet. Five children?s records, one household member record, and two caregiver records were reviewed during the inspection. Last emergency drill: 10/22/2018 Last shelter-in-place drill: 11/07/2018 The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not ensure to review the emergency plan at least annually and update the plan as needed. Evidence: The provider had documentation that the emergency plan was reviewed and updated on 6/23/2016. Providers must document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan annually. Plan of Correction: I will make note that it will be done yearly. I will review it today and update it.
