Technical Assistance:
We discussed the process for modification of the license.

Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 12:06 PM to 3:20 PM. Today, there were ten children, ages sixteen months through four years (21 Points), in attendance during the day with two caregivers. Two of these children went home by the end of the morning. One school age child was present before school. Three school age children were expected after school. I viewed program activities, daily routines, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, equipment, posted information, emergency supplies and drill records, diapering procedures, snack, menu, pet requirements, four records for caregivers/residents, caregiver training, five records for children, indoor and outdoor areas. The caregivers provided frequent reminders for hand washing needs. There were appropriate accommodations for rest and napping. The children have been decorating Santa hats. During the afternoon, the children enjoyed block play and vehicles on the area rugs. The caregivers will receive training and consultation by an Infant-Toddler Consultant. Let me know if you need any assistance. 540/430-9259

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
