Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/04/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Present during the inspection was 1 child, aged 20 months, totaling 3 points, in the care of one provider. The inspector reviewed 1 child's records, one provider record, one household member record, and two pet records during the inspection. The provider stated that medication is not administered. The child was observed having a snack and in free choice play. The inspector reviewed the medication policy, the updated emergency preparedness plans, the emergency supplies, and the required information for parents during the inspection today. The licensing inspector discussed the new model forms available to providers and the changes to the subsidy requirements with the provider. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection were found. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 12:30 p.m. and departed at 2:45 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
