Technical Assistance:

Comments:
An unannounced Licensing Renewal inspection was conducted on 12/10/2018 from 11:40 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to review the standards for licensed family day homes. There were 4 children present, 23 months to 3 years, for a total of 9 points, in care with the provider. The records sample size consisted of 1 newly enrolled children?s records. The additional children's records and the provider / Assistant / Household members? records were recently reviewed at the time of the initial licensing inspection on 6/22/18 and are current. Children were observed eating lunch which consisted of corn dogs, french fries, mixed fruit, apples and milk. Restroom procedures, hand washing, diapering, sanitizing procedures and rest period were also observed today. The provider states that no medication is administered to children in care at this time and that one school aged child is routinely transported in a vehicle. Requirements for transportation were reviewed with the provider - but transportation was not observed during the inspection. Children play outdoors in the front lawn with direct supervision and close proximity of the provider. The provider reports that there have been no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical treatment incurred by children in care since the last inspection. There are no children currently enrolled who have diagnosed food allergies. Thank you for your time during today's inspection.
