An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:15am-12:15pm. There were 4 children (8 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1 staff record, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely, reading books and playing with blocks. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. An area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on record review, the provider did not maintain a monthly documentation of emergency evacuation drills. Evidence: There is no documentation of a December 2018 drill being conducted. The provider stated a drill was conducted but not documentation. Plan of Correction: I will ensure all drills are documented.
