The following Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 11:30am-1:45pm. There were two caregivers directly supervising 10 children (20 points). A total of 4 children?s records and 2 records were reviewed. The first aid kit, medications, training, and evacuation drills were all reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: Finger printing and magnifying discovery, reading books, washing hands, toileting, setting the table, eating lunch (spaghetti with meatballs, peaches, and milk) and other organized activities. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-700-C Description: Based on record review, medications that were not picked up within 14 days or taken to a pharmacy for proper disposal. Evidence: 1. Child #3 had an Epi-Pen on-site that expired on 10/2018. Plan of Correction: I contacted the parent during the inspection and asked them to bring in a new Epi-Pen and pick-up the expired one.
