Technical assistance was provided regarding the reunification plan.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/16/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 children present with the provider. The children were observed eating lunch, playing with toys, and washing hands. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-A Description: Based on record review, the emergency response plan did not include procedures for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. Evidence: 1. The emergency preparedness plan did not contain procedures for continuity of care during emergencies. Plan of Correction: I will add the continuity plan to my emergency response plan.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-3 Description: Based on observation and staff interview, the provider did not maintain documentation that lockdown procedures were practiced at least annually. Evidence: 1. The provider stated a lockdown procedure was last completed in December 2018 but did not maintain documentation. Plan of Correction: I will maintain documentation of lockdown drills.
