A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/6/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-1:30pm. There were 5 children (16 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, eating lunch, being bottle fed, and napping. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-A Description: Based on review of the emergency plan, the written emergency preparedness plan was incomplete. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan did not address lockdown procedures, a reunification plan including procedures to reunite children with a parent or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child, and procedures for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency as part of the locdown procedures. The evacuation plan, and shelter-in-place plan are missing procedures for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. Plan of Correction: I will review and add the missing information.
