- Technical Assistance:
We talked about emergency drill scheduling and records, annual emergency plan reviews/training, and training sources.
Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 11:37 AM to 2:50 PM. Today, there were eleven children, ages infancy through four years (27 points), with three caregivers. An additional preschool age child receives care after 3:00 PM. I viewed daily routines, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, equipment, posted information, menu, nutrition, five records for children, emergency planning, emergency supplies and drill records, four records for caregivers/residents, caregiver training, indoor and outdoor areas. The children have been provided outside activities, weather permitting. Recently, the yard has been muddy from the ground thaw. A variety of age appropriate toys and materials have been available for the children. There was adequate equipment for infant care. The caregivers have participated in local training opportunities.
No violations observed this date. The provider has maintained substantial compliance with minimum standards. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
