A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 6, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-B Description: Based on record review and provider statement, all caregivers did not complete the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Social Services. Evidence: Adult 1 has not completed the required Preservice training. Plan of Correction: Per standards, Preservice training was completed . Training will be completed as required. Miriam Ayala will assure completion of training.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-A Description: Based on record review, the family day home's emergency preparedness plan is incomplete. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not address procedures to follow in a lock down emergency or procedures to reunify parents with their children in the event of emergency. Plan of Correction: Per standards, the new and more comprehensive emergency preparedness plan will be updated and instituted to include lock down procedures and parent /children reunite plan. Miriam will update drills accordingly.
