An unannounced renewal inspection was completed on 3/26/2019. There were five children in care with the provider and an assistant supervising at a total of ten points. Five children's records, the provider's record and one household member's (assistant) record were reviewed. The inspector arrived at the provider's home at 10:30 A.M. and departed at 12:30 P.M. The children were observed during free play times, during morning snack, writing time, and lunch . There was discussion with the provider about the following: annual training, fire drill happening at different time of day, making sure that the adverse reaction of the authorization for sunscreen is completed.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-G Description: Based on review of the most recent chimney inspection, the licensee failed to ensure that an inspection was completed every year. Evidence: 1. The most recent inspection was completed on 11/3/2016. Plan of Correction: The provider stated that the person has been contacted, but due the rainy conditions he has not be able to preform the inspection. The inspector will conduct the inspection as soon as the weather is clear. The provider will make sure that the inspector is scheduled annually for an inspection.
