The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from approximately 8:50 am to 10:30 am to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards at the family day home. During this inspection,there were six children present totaling thirteen points being supervised by the provider. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care sitting watching Sesame Street, engaged in play with age appropriate toys, completing bathroom break, a parent drop off, transitioning for breakfast, eating their breakfast, engaged in free play, participating in story time, and dancing. The children's breakfast consisted of oatmeal, apples, and milk. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, fire and shelter-in-place drills were reviewed by the inspector. The family day homes designated childcare areas, restroom, and outdoor play area were inspected. The emergency preparedness and response plan was reviewed by provider on 04/12/19. During this inspection, there were four children's records, one provider's record, one assistant caregiver's, and five household member's records were reviewed by the inspector.
