Comments:
Health and Safety inspection was conducted to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were four children in care with the vendor and one resident child. Children present ranged in age from 20 months to three years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on interview the vendor failed to demonstrate that a continuity of operations procedures to ensure that all functions are maintained during an emergency was in place. Evidence: When asked the vendor stated that she did not have procedure to address continuity of operations during an emergency.

Plan of Correction: The vendor will create the required procedure as soon as possible.
