An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the provider beginning at 11:10 AM and ending at 12:49 PM in conjunction with the licensing renewal inspection. There were eight children in the care of the vendor and assistant. The children's ages were 8 months, 15 months, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, and 5 years old for a total of 19 points. One infant was observed being held by a caregiver. The children were observed playing with toys while an educational television program was playing. Children were observed eating snack which consisted of whole grain crackers and fruit juice. One child was observed returning to the family day home after school. Eight children's records and three household members' records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency lockdown drill was documented as 4/20/18. The vendor and assistant are certified in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
