The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from approximately 10:14 am to 12:00 pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards at the family day home. During this inspection, there were six children present totaling eleven point being supervised by the provider. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care participating in a variety of activities to include engaging in free play with age appropriate equipment, playing at the table for a Play Doh activity, interacting with peers and caregiver, and working on coloring book. The family day homes outdoor and indoor designated areas, bathroom, and kitchen area were inspected. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, emergency contacts, and menu, fire and shelter-in-place drills, were reviewed by the inspector. Medication is not being administered and transportation is not being provided. During this inspection, there were five children's records, one provider's record, and two household member's records were reviewed by the inspector. There were no violations cited during this inspection. The Department has not yet received a complete renewal application and annual fee from the family day home at this time. The Department must receive a complete renewal application and fee prior to expiration of the license on 06/24/ 2019 or the Department cannot renew the license.
