An unannounced self reported inspection was conducted regarding concerns of care of children. This visit was conducted between 11:00am-12:00pm. Interview was conducted with caregiver. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-560-A Description: Based on interview with caregiver, a child did not have direct care at all times. Evidence: Caregiver left a child unattended in the room for approximately less than 25 seconds to dispose of a soiled diaper in a trash bin 29.6 feet down the hall. Plan of Correction: The child was sitting on the couch when I ran to throw away a soiled diaper, the door shut when I was within in 2 feet of it, my husband was in the room and opened the door as soon as I yelled at him for closing it. The child was still sitting on the couch when I returned.
