Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:00 - 11:45 am with the provider. There were eight children in care, ranging from two years to four years of age, for a total of 16 points. The children were observed playing with superheros for "Super Hero Day." Five children's records and three caregiver/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. Childcare areas and supplies were observed. Required information was posted. The first aid kit, battery operated flashlight and weather band radio were all observed and in compliance. The last fire drill was conducted 5/14/19, the last shelter in place drill was conducted 4/23/19 and the last lock down drill was conducted 5/14/19. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medications to children in care.
