22VAC40-665 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/17/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 9 chldren (23 points) with 3 caregivers. The children were observed playing with toys, getting diapers changed and eating lunch. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-150-G Description: Based on observation, the provider did not maintain a current written list of children's allergies. Evidence: Child # 1 has a diagnosed food allergy. The provider did not have a current written list of children's allergies in the family day home. Plan of Correction: Caregivers will retrained about hand washing.
