Technical Assistance:
Licensing inspector discussed child abuse and neglect training with the provider.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately10:30am-12:15pm. There were11 children (29 points) directly supervised by 4 caregivers. A sample of 5 children?s records, 4 caregiver's records and 1 household member's record were reviewed. The children were observed playing in the backyard, washing hands and eating lunch. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B
Description: Based on record review, the provider did not review with the parent the emergency contact information of the child at least annually. Evidence: 1. The file of Child A was last updated 05/05/2018. 2. The file of Child B was last updated 01/04/2018.

Plan of Correction: I will talk to the families today and by next week it'll be done.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-G
Description: Based on record review, a wood burning fireplace was not inspected annually. Evidence: The wood burning fireplace was last inspected 03/13/2018.

Plan of Correction: I will call today to get an appointment.
