Technical Assistance:

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. The inspector arrived at 2:45 PM and concluded the inspection at 4:30 PM. The provider and her assistant were present with five children, totaling 14 points. Children and caregivers were observed engaging in activities to include napping, dancing, singing, reviewing the letters of the alphabet and the food pyramid. The provider had the required postings displayed. The first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. There are no medications being administered at this time. Five children's records, two caregiver records, fire drill, shelter in place and lockdown dills were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Heather Dapper at (804) 662-7014.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
