A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 11:35 AM to 3:30 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were two school age children in care and six resident children present with the provider. I viewed operational responsibilities, record keeping, nutrition, food service, hand washing, caregiver training, reports, children's information, hazardous substances, attendance records, bathroom use, emergency response plans, five records for children, one caregiver record, emergency drills and planning. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
