Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, June 4, 2019. The on-site inspection was held from 9:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. On this date, there were five children in the care of the provider (13 points). There were a total of eight children enrolled in the program. There were five children's records reviewed, along with the records for the provider and one household member. There were no medications being administered at the time of the visit, as is the policy of the provider. There were no violations of the licensing standards. The violations from the previous inspection had been corrected. The posted menu listed today's lunch as pork franks, peas, pears, macaroni, and milk. Some items reviewed/observed during the inspection included: choice time and free play in the playroom, behavioral guidance, transition to outside play, large motor activities while outside, morning infant nap, hand washing and bathroom procedures, playground equipment, lunch preparation, required posted information, emergency supplies, warm water temperature, refrigerator and freezer temperatures, first aid kit and emergency supplies, and documentation of evacuation and shelter-in-place drills.
