An unannounced inspection was completed on 08/05/2019 from 9:50 A.M.-12:30P.M. At the time of the inspection there were nine children and two caregivers present. There was a total of thirty points. The records for four children, two caregivers, emergency plan, first aid kit and emergency supplies, evacuation drills, chimney inspection, and required posted information were reviewed. The children were observed during infant naptime, infant feeding, diapering, handwashing, table top activites, and lunchtime. The exceptions to compliance are noted on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on review of five children's records, the provider failed to obtain a parent's written acknowledgement of review of emergency information annually. Evidence: 1. Child #3's last documented date of review of emergency information was 05/10/2018. 2. Child #4's last documented date of review of emergency information was 01/20/2018. 3. The provider verified the dates of the last review of emergency information. Plan of Correction: The provider will contact the parents today at pick-up and have them review the emergency information.
