Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 12:33 PM to 4:10 PM for a review of supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were eleven children, ages infancy through five years (twenty-five points), with three caregivers. I viewed operational responsibilities, record keeping, children's information, reports, caregiver qualifications, caregiver training, hazardous substances, emergency plan, bathroom use, hand washing, emergency drill records, nutrition, food service, five records for children, and five caregiver/resident records. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
