Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 9:00am to 11:45 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 4 children present (16 points) with 3 caregivers. The children were observed sleeping, being bottle feed and playing with toys. Interactions with caregivers was positive. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
