Technical Assistance:
Placing decals on clear glass doors at the eye level of children in care was discussed with the provider.

Comments:
An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 1:00 PM and departed at 2:00 PM. Eight children, totaling 16 points were in care with two caregivers. Nap time was observed. Two caregiver records and five children's records were reviewed. It was reported that no children have been administered medication and no children's injuries were reported.

An exit meeting was conducted with the provider prior to closure of the inspection.

Description: Based upon review of five children's records, the provider has not ensured that each child's record includes the parent acknowledgement of receipt of the provisions of the family day home emergency response plan.
Evidence:
The record provided for child 5 did not include the parent acknowledgement of receipt of the provisions of the family day home emergency response plan.

Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following:
The provisions of the emergency response plan will be provided to the parent who will be required to sign the acknowledgement form.
