Technical Assistance:
Inspector reminded provider to make sure all household member's TB is up to date as they return to the home.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-11:00am. There were 7 children (13 points) directly supervised by the provider. The home, 2 staff records, 7 children?s records, 1 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, learning the days of the week and colors, eating snack and playing outside. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on inspection of Family Day Home it was determined that all deodorizers were not inaccessible to children in care.

Evidence: During inspection the air deodorizer in the bathroom was stored on the bathroom sink.

Plan of Correction: It was moved out of reach during inspection.
