Discussion on labeling infant bottles. Regardless of when infant bottles are prepared, all bottles must be labeled with both the child's name and date.
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 8 children (26pts) with Provider and 1 Assistant present when the Inspector arrived. The children were transitioning from outside play to indoors. Once they were inside the children engaged with staff with singing songs, playing with wooden puzzles, balls, large legos and the large play equipment. Re-positioning of infants was observed from exercise equipment to crawling and exploring on the floor. No medications, identified food allergies or topical ointments were onsite today. A total of 7 children's records and all staff and household members records were reviewed. Annual emergency plan was reviewed with no changes in April 2019. Both staff have CPR/First Aid training. Diapering and hand washing procedures was observed. Previous violations from the February inspection were reviewed, corrective actions verified with all but one repeated issue pertaining to labeling infant bottles. This inspection began at approximately 10:05am and ended at 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
