A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on (09/26/2019) to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-12:00pm. There were 4 children (12 points) directly supervised by the provider. The home, 1 staff record, 4 children?s records, 1 household member?s record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The provider exceeds the required 16 hours of training hours for this year, she has 31 hours of training There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, learning colors and letters, coloring, playing with small manipulative toys, and napping. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. There were no violations observed during today's inspection.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
