Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. with the provider and two assistants. There were six children in care ranging in age from two years to four years old for a total of twelve points. Children were observed during an art and phonics project about the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom". After the project, children prepared for morning snack. Morning snack was mozzarella cheese stick and 100% juice. After snack, children had free play.

Five children's records, four caregiver records, one household member record and one pet (dog) record. Staff training hours were reviewed. The provider completed 26 hours of training for the 2017-2018 license year and 30 hours of training for the 2018-2019 license year and college courses. Emergency drills are posted and up to date. The provider and assistant/substitute are both Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified. There were no medications on site during today's inspection.
