Comments:
Today an unannounced Monitoring inspection took place between 8:40am and 10:20am. There were 9 children present with the provider and 2 assistant for a total of 27 points within the supervision guidelines. The toddlers were observed playing with legos, coloring, working on a letter "J" art craft, singing and dancing. The infants were observed napping, playing with musical instruments and dancing. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Interactions between caregivers and children were positive and there is an ample amount of supplies available to the children. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please email me at whitney.mcgrath@dss.virginia.gov.
