Technical Assistance:
Technical Assistance was offered regarding trainings, equipment used for children.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:35 am to 12:50 pm. There were 2 children (8 points) in care and supervision of 1 caregiver. The children were observed being fed, and put down for nap in cribs. 2 children's records and 1 caregiver record was reviewed. Emergency drill records were current and there were no medications on site. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violations notice. Description: Based on observation, the family day home was using recalled equipment for children in care.
Evidence: Child # 1 was observed being seated in a recalled bumbo seat after being fed. The bumbo seat did not have the required safety straps.

Plan of Correction: The bumbo seat will not be used anymore.
