A subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on October 22, 2019 from approximately 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Eight children, ages infant through four years old, were in care, with two caregivers, for a total of twenty-five points. Caregivers and children were observed in the indoor space engaged in activities to include activities for infants and nap time. Interviews and interactions were conducted and no medications are given. Five children?s records, two caregiver records and one household member record were reviewed. The provider was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
