The Licensing Inspector conducted a joint complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on September 26, 2019. Interviews were conducted with caregivers relating to the allegations of force feeding a child. The information gathered during this investigation does not support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid. The provider and caregiver were observed exceeding 16 points, therefore a violation was cited during this investigation. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-570-A Complaint related: No Description: Based on observation and provider interview, the provider has not ensured that the caregivers do not exceed 16 points.
Evidence: A joint investigation was conducted on 10/1/19 with another agency. The Inspector arrived around 11:10 am to interview caregivers about a complaint that was received. During the complaint investigation the Inspector observed 12 children totaling 38 points with the provider and one caregiver. The provider stated that the third caregiver left July 18, 2019. They have exceeded the 16 points for each caregiver since the third caregiver left in July.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
