Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 9:37am through 10:45am with the provider on site. There was 1 child (3 points) with the provider. A sample of 1 children's files and 2 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The child was engaged in the following: toy play, diaper changes, hand washing and reading books. Interactions between the child and provider were positive. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records and and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Please contact me if you have any questions at Stacy.Doyle@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-0386.

Description: Based on documentation review of the emergency response drills, the provider did not conduct monthly emergency escape drills.
Evidence:
1. The provider did not have record of practicing a evacuation drill the month of October 2019 or November 2019.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure I do one each month.
